The Educational and School Psychology Unit aims at responding to the research and educational/teaching needs of the Department and the University of Thessaly and at promoting collaboration with other research and educational bodies and agencies embracing common aims with the unit. Its mission is to generate and promote knowledge referring to psychological and psychosocial processes that are related with learning, teaching, educational attainments, and psychological well-being within educational/school and family contexts. Basic and applied research, development of research instruments, and implementation of interventions for preventing difficulties in school and in community are among the unit’s main targets.
